Director and writer Olivier Assayas [Clouds of Sils Maria (2014); Something in the Air (2012); Paris, je t’aime (2006)] brings us this unnerving ghost story with an excellent starring performance from Kristen Stewart [ Certain Women (2016);Clouds of Sils Maria (2014); The Twilight Saga films (2008; 2009;2010;2011;2012)
With matters of life and death growing increasingly intertwined in this part supernatural and part psychological drama, Maureen (Kristen Stewart) is a lonely soul, grieving the death of her twin brother and desperately seeking a sign from him from beyond the grave.
For this reason she has stayed on in Paris and works as personal shopper for a fashion world celebrity – dashing between high end stores and brands to pick up items to deliver to the luxury apartment of her boss.
The plot twists and turns but the constant appeal is the commanding screen presence of Stewart.
